I am in the process of trying to acquire 2019 Azimut 60 ft Flybridge with twin Volvos and ZF 335-A Transmissions. Starboard Transmission showed Severe levels of Copper (174) and Potassium Level Higher than typical. Report states “Suspect Clutch/Disc Pack Damage”. Same for Port Transmission except level of copper was 114 which they labeled as Abnormal but also suspected Clutch/Disc Pack Damage. Should I be overly concerned with this findings and what is the recommended remedy. Oil not changed for over 2 years. total engine time is 560 hours.

————–99% of the time,Ā  a random oil same is close to meaningless–

—————-If you DO NOT look at the oil samples, any operation transmission SYMPTOMS ??

———-Does the vessel have any type of trolling system or slow operation system that is controlled on theĀ  shifting controls?

—————Dip the dip stick in the gear a few times and put the oil on a clean sheet of typing paper—-Tell me what to observe as to color and smell———BOTH GEARS
