Hello all – would you give me advice on the correct bolt material to attach the hydraulic ram to the tiller?  I assume it needs to have high shear strength so I thought Bumax 88 stainless steel or a grade 8 steel bolt should be used.

hole size for tiller and Ram ball insert: 3/8″

    thank you,

    Steve

Use GRADE 8 ( bolt & nut) , lots of grease on all including all threads & the inserts- about 35 Ft lbs
